Small but, solid school nearby downtown, Gaegum The male director owns math academic and English teaching school in Gaegum, which is about 10min away from downtown called Seomyun by the subway. It is a financially solid school so you will get paid on time and staffs at the school are all supportive. I placed an American male teacher at this school and we are looking for a replacement of him. They are looking for a teacher by at the end of May or early June. Working conditions Mon through Fri ( No weekend work ) Working hrs : 2pm-9pm ( In general, you finish early ) elementary and middle school kids Salary : 1.9-2.0Million won Apt : rent free, furnished and non-sharing apt 10 days paid vacation 50% Health insurance Airfare provided ( we will get you ticket so all you have to do is to confirm the itinerary ) Bonus upon the completion of the contract 2. Very Reputable in a nice area, Dongnae, Busan The school has been around in here for many years and it is one of the successful schools in this area. The owner has 3 campuses close to each other and there are 3 native teachers. The school is located in right in front of the bus stop and 5 min walking distance from the subway station. The apt is in PNU ( Pusan National University ) where there are lots of restaurants, shopping shops, nice and cheap drinking places, and nice hike-up mountains surrounded. I placed 2 Canadian teachers in this school and you can talk to anyone of my teachers. The positions are open for 20 June and at the end of Aug. The director prefers to find a teacher in Korea but, its not necessary. Working Conditions Working days : 5 days a week (There are 4 semesters in a yearly schedule in this school and each semester is a 3 month long and all teachers must take Sat classes at least one semester. That means you will take Friday off but, sat classes are only 2-3 classes) Elementary and middle school kids Working hrs : 2pm-9pm Salary : 1.9-2.1 million won (depending on experiences and degree ) Accommodation: non-sharing and single apt and teachers are living at the same building. 10 days Paid vacation Airfare provided upfront ( I arrange it so all you have to do is to pick it up from the airport or home ) Bonus upon the completion of the contract 3. Looking for an very enthusiastic teacher in PNU area, Busan It is one of the most popular areas in Busan for foreign called PNU ( Pusan National University ) teachers due to transportation, shopping, and hiking etc. The owner has been running an academic school for a while and wants to expand English teaching classes in June. If you have experiences and are willing to cooperate with a director to set up English teaching classes by creating curriculums and teaching plans pls check this out. They are looking for a teacher by early June.
