Ulsan city is located in on east coast line of Korea and it is the famous city for Hyundai motor and shipping company cause 80% of Ulsan people are directly or indirectly working for Huyndai Company. It is about 1.3 M populations and it is a growing city. Ulsan has industrial area where shipping yard and factories are in and it will be polluted but, this school area is far from there and nice area for sure. It is called " Moogedong" in Ulsan and right cross road from Ulsan University and Ulsan park is about 5min away by buses from there and Soccer stadium is near by so area itself is pretty green and nice for sure in this city. Plus, it is close to the highway so there are lots of buses to come to Busan in Pusan National University ( PNU ) area and take only 40mins to get there. In person, I am living in PNU area and it is pretty close to Busan. The owner of this school doesn't speak whole lots of English but, he is a very nice and reasonable person but, there is a supervisor who speaks good English and be a translator for teachers at work. There are 6 native teachers at this school (4 Canadians and 2 Americans) and it is very well-organized and disciplined school compared to other schools. Working Conditions Mon through Fri (No weekends) Teaching kindergarten and elementary kids aged 5 -13yrs Working hrs is 11am – 7pm at 2.2M (lunch provided) If you don’t want to teach kindergarten kids but, only elementary it is possible at less money at 2M like 1pm – 6 or 7pm and extra work for more money is always possible.
