ONE Position is currently open for an ESL teacher at a school in Jeonju. This city is situated about two and a half hours south of Seoul and is an important tourist center famous for Korean food, historic buildings, sports activities and innovative festivals. Uncle Lion English Academy has been open for six and a half years and is well known for its high standards of instruction and good variety of teaching materials. The focus is very much on helping students to attain real useable English skills. Full training and assistance is provided to help new teachers coming to the school. There are currently three foreign teachers and two Korean teachers at the Academy. Actual teaching hours involve SIX classes (50 mins each) per day. The shift runs from afternoon until evening. Students are all elementary school age (8-14). NO Kindy. Working week is Monday to Friday. The position is due to start immediately.
