Asia-Pacific Connections is currently hiring for 20+ positions in Seoul, Bundang, Suwon, Daegu, and other cities in Korea. All the jobs require a 12-month commitment and a full-undergraduate degree (minimum). North Americans are preferred. We cannot place non-native speakers of English (however good their English may be), nor can we place citizens of non-English speaking countries. All the jobs involve teaching children. Almost all of the jobs are M-F and require 25-30 hours of classroom teaching per week. All the jobs include the following: - A salary of 1.9 - 2.4 million Won per month (usually 1.9-2.0 for inexperienced teachers -- about US$2000). - Round trip air (ticket to Korea pre-paid) - A Free apartment (almost all jobs offer a single studio apartment) - Legal severance Asia-Pacific Connections is currently hiring for 20+ positions in Seoul, Bundang, Suwon, Daegu, pay (one full month per year worked) - Medical Insurance - A Legal employment visa - Advice and support before you leave and while you are in Korea - PRIVATE contact information for current teachers at any school that has agreed to hire you Currently, I have two positions at an excellent chain of schools in Bundang, to which I've sent about a dozen happy teachers over the past two years, for early March. The students are all high school or upper elementary (small classes). Accommodation and salary are superior. Qualifications and/or experience required. For early March, I also have two positions at a school in Daegu (kindergarten/elementary) run by a very kind woman for whom I've been hiring for the past three years. Her previous teachers have been very pleased with the conditions. Open to newbies and couples. In Suwon, I have two jobs at a reliable school (kindergarten/elementary) for whom I've hired several times, always with good results. They are open to hiring non-North Americans and newbies and provide excellent housing and 2.0 per month. Through a Korean partner, with whom I've been working closely for three years, I also have access to literally dozens of jobs in the city of Seoul and other cities in Korea. ABOUT ME: My name is Kristopher Kinch, and I started APC in Vancouver in late 1999. I'm a well-qualified English-language instructor and I've been teaching for thirteen years, two of which I spent in Korea. I've also taught in Taiwan and Canada. I've held Head Teacher and Director of Studies positions, and done a fair bit of specialized English teaching. I've taught students of all ages from all five continents in venues ranging from private Korean kindergartens to the British Council.
