The details are below. >>>>> Information for Public Elementary School positions At the moment, we have many openings in public schools all over South Korea. You must also have a University degree. -Salary Your salary will be in the range of 2,000,000 ~2,300,000 won a month, depending on your qualifications and experience. You will be paid monthly, either directly in cash to you or to your Korean bank account. -Severance Pay At the completion of your 12-month contract, you will be entitled to a severance package of one months average salary. -Hours You will be expected to teach between 22 hours - 25 hours a week from Monday to Friday. -Schedule Type 1. Regular teaching schedule : 9:00am - 4:00pm(or 5) (The timetable for Incheon and Bucheon jobs) Type 2. After school program schedule : 11:00am -6:00pm (The timetable for Incheon and Bucheon jobs) Type 3. 11:00am -5:00pm ( This is the normal schedule for Gyeong-gi Province jobs) -Taxes Your employer will take out Korean taxes from your salary before giving them to you. -Medical Insurance Your employer will enroll you in the Korean Medical Insurance Union, which entitles you to the same rate for medical services and prescriptions as for Korean citizens (uninsured rates are much higher). -Housing The employer will provide furnished rent-free accommodation for your time in Korea, usually close to your place of employment or if not then close to public transportation. You will be expected to pay the utilities such as gas, water, and electricity yourself or with your flatmates. -Vacations You will be entitled to all Korean national holidays, and your employer is not allowed to deny you any of these. There usually come to about 13 days per year. In addition you will be given usually about 10 - 20 days paid vacation for the duration of your contract. -Type of Students Elementary school students -Size of Classes Regular teaching : 20~30 students After school program : 12 students or less >>>>> Information for Private School positions Compared to public schools, teachers in private institutes work slightly more hours, but the atmosphere is much more relaxed and informal and the teachers are given much more freedom to use their own teaching methods and materials, so many teachers prefer them. And the size of a hogwon class is about a third of that of a public school, so it will be easier for a teacher to control the class. -Length of Contract E-2 Visas require contracts to be for one year / Short term contracts are also available. -Location We have job offers all over Korea. Ladder English Training School is a successful and established private language school. in Fuzhou, Fujian, China and is looking to hire a native-English speaking teacher to join us in the middle of February 2006 to February 2007 (the contract is renewable). Teacher’s primary duty is to help our Chinese students to improve their oral English and communication skills. Oral English Teacher Qualifications and Requirements: Native English speakers from Canada, U.K., Australia, New Zealand, or the United States, college graduate, TESL/TEFL certificate or ESL/EFL classroom experience preferred. Good ability in expressions and communication. Applicants who are between 20-30 years of age will be given priority consideration. Salary and Benefits: 15 classroom hours per week (Monday to Friday, weekends free), plus a weekly 1-hour staff meeting. Paid overtime and 10 days of public holidays, work visa, licenses and resident card fees provided by the school. A monthly salary of 4000RMB plus a maximum of 20% monthly incentive. Housing allowance: 600RMB/month. Bonus of 1000USD given at the end of your yearly contract (as round trip airfare). Free internet access at school. Foreign affairs assistance can be provided.
