Now we need ESL teachers from USA, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Australia urgently. What Songyuan JOY offers: - Teaching schedule: 20 teaching hours per week and 4 office hours per week. Normally we have English classes on weekends. You will have enough time to experience the Chinese culture & people. English teaching guidelines will be provided to facilitate the teaching process. - Monthly salary: 5000-7000RMB - Free furnished apartment with appropriate appliances. - Following the completion of a one-year contract, 8000 RMB will be paid for airfare reimbursement. - 4 weeks holidays with full pay prior to the approval of the school. 2-week holidays is in August and 2-week holidays is in Febuary Normally. - Free Chinese training - Contract renewal You will get 4000RMB as airfare reimbursement after the completion of each contract extension (6 months). Songyuan is one of the few Chinese cities that have retained its culture. Unlike the larger cities of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou (Canton), that have lost their culture due to foreign commercialism, Songyuan still has beautiful places of interest untouched by western culture. Songyuan also has assimilated several features of the unique Mongolian culture and thus provides a unique opportunity to sample the cultures and lifestyles of both Mongolia and China. Songyuan city also has 4 distinct seasons: it is green in the summer and hosts a worldwide-known fish festival in the winter. Life in Songyuan is considerably cheaper than in larger cities and while considered small by Chinese standards, Songyuan has a population of about 300,000 people. The cost of living in Songyuan is approximately 600 RMB per month ($75), while in Beijing or Guangzhou, the cost of living can be as high as 3,000-4,000 RMB per month. As a result, our teachers have always been able to save more money. Sonyuan is only 1.1/2hrs away from Chang Chun City by train. Chang Chun is a large city with about 6 million inhabitants. It is the capital of Jilin Province which is a great place to tour on your day off.
