The Gyeonggi English Village in Korea has what you need. Do you have what we need? Immersion-style language learning is taking hold in Korea as the innovation of choice in English education in Korea. The Gyeonggi English Village, a non-profit organization sponsored by Gyeonggi government, has created a practical English educational system for the citizens of Gyeonggi province. In these villages, students will have an opportunity to experience English and foreign culture with native English speakers. The students are able to experience English in a non-traditional setting through a content-based, project focused immersion curriculum. Paju Camp, located in a clean, quiet environment, and about 15 kilometers from the DMZ was opened in April 2006. Paju offers a wide range of immersion programs for children and adults. Paju Camp provides “One day programs” for daily visitors, such as Family Weekend program and the Field Trip package programs and “Regular programs”, such as the One Week program and the Two Week program. Additionally, there are “Interactive Edutainment” shows that will be designed to teach English. Gyeonggi English Village is looking for teachers and edutainers willing to commit to making the English Village project succeed and to continuing the development of our educational programs. 1. Qualifications (Positions available for only Native Speakers of English-US, UK, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, South African teachers) ○ Regular program teachers * More than a year of English teaching experience to foreign students preferred * Must have Bachelor’s degree or above (B.Ed., B.A, B.S (Although preference is given to those who possess a B.Ed. degree, B.A or B.S holders will be considered should they meet other qualifications) * Good at adapting to a foreign culture * Good communication skills * Flexible, energetic, professional, dedicated * ESL teaching experience and TESOL certificate(teaching related certificates) preferred ○ One day program teachers * Must have Bachelor’s degree or above(education or its related major preferred) * Minimum 1 year of Kids(younger than 46months) teaching experience or elementary school students teaching experience * Good communication skills * Flexible, energetic, professional, dedicated * ESL teaching experience and TESOL certificate(teaching related certificates) preferred * Various artistic talents preferred(acting, singing, dancing etc.) ○ Edutainers * Must have Bachelor’s degree or above * Training in arts, drama, dance(choreography), music(voice, instruments, etc), and other modes that are geared more towards entertainment * Experience in “Kids educational performances” ,in teaching, in music composition and in lyric writing preferred 2. The university occupies a land over 1440hectares, and construction area around 440,000 square meters.   SAU was established in 1952, originally the combination of Faculty of Agronomy of Fudan University and part of Shenyang Agricultural College(SAC), 11 October was set as the anniversary date, The famous agricultural educationist, Zhang Kewei, was the first president.
