Qilu EF was opened 2001 and in this time has established itself as the premier English Language Training centre in Shandong, one of the most historic, most prosperous and most influential provinces in China. Position: As the Chinese ESL market continues to mature, so our school is continuing to grow and expand. We currently require 1 teacher to start immediately, 2 to start in June. We require: Confident, professional, enthusiastic and outgoing people. Teachers who are willing to teach all ages and levels of ability, from kindergarten to adults, from beginners to advanced. Applicants will have a recognized Teaching English as a Foreign Language qualification. EFL classroom experience is desirable, but not essential. Our team has helped many 1st-time teachers to adapt to their new surroundings and profession in addition to helping them develop into confident, competent and professional teachers of English as a Second language. We offer: -Starting salary of 5000 RMB per month rising to 6000 RMB after 6 months. NB: This salary is high by local standards (higher than that of a doctor) and provides a comparatively high standard of living and the chance to save money. -20 real in-class hours per week teaching predominately Young Learners with some Adults' classes. This may rise to 26 real hours during peak summer and winter periods (approximately 3 months). -Fully furnished, shared accommodation or, if preferred, a housing allowance should the applicant wish to find his/her own accommodation. Accommodation is rent free although teachers will be responsible for gas, electricity, telephone and water bills. -Paid visa, health insurance and holidays. -Opportunities for promotion & transfer in the worlds leading private educational organization. -Standard 12 month contracts or 12 month 'split' contracts (which involve teachers spending 6 months in one Qilu EF school in one city and 6 months in another Qilu EF school in another city. -Round trip airfare.
