Welcome to the beautiful island of Taiwan and to an exciting career opportunity. We are a distinguished English institution with 13 branches throughout Taiwan, mostly in Northern Taiwan (Locations are in Taipei, Taoyuan, Hsinchu, etc.). As we are rapidly growing, we are currently seeking 10 Native Speaker English Teachers to teach our premiere elementary English classes. Currently we have about 40 foreign teachers working for us. At our school, the students learn to speak English confidently while getting a well-rounded education, and the teachers develop and use skills that are directly applicable to classrooms in North American school systems. The classes are all Monday through Friday on a regular schedule, and in the same location. Training, lesson plans, and teaching materials are provided. EXPERIENCED AND FIRST-TIME TEACHERS ARE WELCOME!! Kindergarten/Elementary Kindergarten classes are Mon-Fri, 8:30-4:30, with one 1.5 hour break. Each class has a max of 20 students with one foreign teacher and two assistants. Elementary classes are Mon-Fri, 4:30-6:00, with a max of 16 students. Immersion/Elementary teachers teach an immersion class in the early afternoon, and then teach elementary classes in the late afternoon and some evenings. Elementary/Adult teachers teach elementary classes in the afternoon and on some evenings, and also teach adult classes on some evenings. Terms The pay is supplemented by performance and contract completion bonuses. On average your monthly salary will be 60000-67000NT. Benefits include health insurance, accident insurance, paid holidays including a Chinese New Year holiday that is usually two weeks long, paid sick days, and a floating holiday in the spring. The school provides initial airport pickup, accommodation at a greatly reduced rent, and lunch and dinner on school days. Once you are in Taiwan , the school will help you apply for a resident visa and ARC, though fees are covered by the teacher.
