Website: http: //www.cqwu.edu.cn _______________________________________________________________________________ Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences is a full-time comprehensive institution of higher education under the leadership of Chongqing Municipal Government of P.R.China. The university is located in the Weixing Lake Cultural Tourism District of Yongchuan, a city situated on Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Corridor. It enjoys convenient transportation and beautiful campuses, and is an ideal place for scientific research and study. The University now has 3 campuses, covering over 1880 mu. Xinghu Campus of the university, lying at the foot of Huanggua Mountain and by the side of the Weixing Lake, boasts of its attractive scenery and has been awarded the title “Garden-like Unit” of provincial level. It has a collection of 900,000 books and periodicals in the library. The university now has a staff of 1342, among whom there are over 200 professors and associate professors.
