Employers Chinese governmentally owned schools, universities, colleges, private language schools. Locations (Provinces) Jiangsu, ZheJiang, DaLian , YunNan,HeNan,HuNan, ShaanXi,XinJiang , Shijiazhuang, ShanDong, An’hui, LiaoNing.etc Wages 5000rmb is an average amount,in some western region could be lower,in some coast city could be higher.Depends on the school. Air ticket Return economy air ticket refunded for two semesters’ contract, one way airfare for one term contract according to the receipt. You will be picked up at the nearest airport to a school for free. Accommodation Free with facilities. The space is varied from 40 to 150 square meters. Start date 15th September 2007. Also throughout the whole year. Contract period Two semesters contract (about 10 months) preferred. Hours per week From 10 to 30 academic hours per week, (An academic hour is 45 minutes), if you work for the private schools, the working hours are more, but the wages will be much higher. Work days From Monday to Friday, if you work for private schools, you are expected to work at night and weekends.You will take day off during the week. Overtime It will be negotiated. (Some public school don't have over time teaching task,it happened usually in language school) Tax The wages are after tax. Holidays (days and dates) All holidays Paid. 3 days in May, 3 days in October, winter holiday 3/4 weeks in February. Health Insurance Usually a school will purchase medical insurance. (New policy in Zhejiang province that this is a must) Bonus 2000- 2200 Yuan paid for winter holiday travel allowance. Description of the position Class size: Varies depending on the quality of the school. It can be 10 pupils up to 40 pupils. Colleagues Most schools have a minimum 2 foreign teachers up to, maybe 20 foreign teachers. A foreign director or an assistant teacher will help you with day to day details. Teaching task Almost all the teachers are teaching English language.Oral English and Conversational English.
