Part five

Present Tense

This free lesson and exercises are about the way I live: present simple or simple present (positive and negative). Also discussed articles a/an. Adjective (Adj) + noun.

 

 

Example 1:

Positive:

 

-          I like tea

-          You play football

-          We speak three languages

 

Negative:

-          I don’t like tea

-          You don’t play football

 

Questions and short answers:

-          Do you like tea à Yes I do NOT yes I like

-          Do you play football à No I don’t

 

Exercise 1:

Now it’s your turn

Fill in the blank:

A: I …. green tea but I prefer hot chocolate

B: Do you …. Tennis?

A:  Yes I …

B: They … a good house

A: No they…

Example 2: An/A     Adjective/ noun

Use an before words the begin with a, e, i, o and u

An orange

An engineer

But

A television

A nurse

A German car NOT A Car German
